Updated: Jan 22

After a game of Cubicle with your friends, you may leave feeling the glow of triumphant, viewing yourself as the most quick-witted member of your group. You may be the best Cubicle player in your group (or the worst, we won’t judge), but do you think you could match up to this list of fictional characters as our pick for best characters to play Cubicle?

1. Gina Peretti (Brooklyn 99)

To start, we have “the Paris of people,” Gina Peretti from Brooklyn 99, in our 5th-place spot! Gina is known for being loveably self-absorbed while being cutthroat enough to get what she wants, which is perfect for a corporate environment like Cubicle. If she can win a Halloween Heist, we definitely think she would be a winner at Cubicle.

Her favorite card? We think it would be: "Issues with Authority"

2. Jim Halpert (The Office)

Jim Halpert is known for his pranks and humor, a comedy pillar in The Office. His charisma got him out of many sticky situations (staplers in gelatin, anyone?) while keeping his job. His experience in corporate comedy makes him the perfect candidate to be a Cubicle superstar, making him fourth on our list.

His favorite card? We think it would be: "Stapler in Jello"

3. April Ludgate (Parks and Rec)

Moving onto a more moody character, our next pick is April Ludgate from Parks and Rec. April is a fan favorite for her deadpan one-liners and her ability to create wild scenarios, adding humor to the mundane. April Ludgate’s deadpan humor would make her an amazing cubicle player.

Her favorite card? We think it would be: "Office Witchcraft"

4. Eleanor Shellstrop (The Good Place)

Next on the list, landing in second place, is our forking favorite dirtbag from Arizona, queen of excuses, Eleanor Shellstrop. Throughout The Good Place, Eleanor’s quick wit saved her and her whole group on multiple occasions. Whether that was hiding from demons, escaping The Bad Place, or avoiding Mindy Sinclair, Eleanor’s resourcefulness bailed them out. We think Eleanor would excel at Cubicle, especially with Performance Reviews. Her charm and wit would let her adapt any excuse to whatever her supervisor throws at her (just like before she died).

Her favorite card? We think it would be: "What is the Truth"

5. Saul Goodman (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul)

Of course, at the top of our list is James “Jimmy” McGill, aka Saul Goodman, from Breaking Bad. Saul is known for his ability to find loopholes and adapt to any situation. This eye for strategy makes him our choice to be our winner for the best fictional character to play, Cubicle!

His favorite card? We think it would be: "Excessive Money Laundering"
